An important aspect of Little Moon’s vision is making authentic Montessori education and meaningful time in nature accessible to children from families of all income levels.
We are committed to creating an inclusive and equitable learning environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
Little Moon Montessori is envisioned as a small, nature based, mixed-age Children’s House for children ages 3–6. By honoring each child as a whole being - mind, body, and spirit - we foster a sense of safety and belonging that supports the unfolding of self-esteem, curiosity, and wonder.
Our mission is to combine Montessori education with hands-on outdoor exploration and experiential learning - two well-researched early childhood educational approaches supported by decades of research shown to strengthen cognitive development, social-emotional well-being, and a lifelong love of learning.
