“There is a great sense of community within the Montessori classroom, where children
of differing ages work together in an atmosphere of cooperation rather than competitiveness.
There is respect for the environment and for the individuals within it,
which comes through the experience of freedom within the community.”

“When children come into contact with nature,

they reveal their strength.”

Currently, we are searching for a place in our community where Little Moon’s Children’s House can be established. This page was created to reach out to our community for suggestions, tips, ideas that will perhaps lead us to our home.

A community hall perhaps, or property where the owner/organization would be open to sharing space or partnering with a small, community embedded, nonprofit, nature-based Montessori preschool.

We are genuinely open to all possibilities but we're especially hoping to connect with those who feel mission-aligned and inspired to support the community's  children, their families, and earth-centered education - where our desire to reimagine childhood means seeing the early years not as preparation for life, but as life itself: rich with curiosity, creativity, and limitless potential.

Little Moon Montessori is growing from the community itself. We welcome families and community members who feel called to this vision to join us in helping bring this school to life.

If you have a space to share, ideas to explore, or simply feel called to connect, we would love to hear from you!
